Gwarcoed is a small traditional Welsh Farm built of local stone under slate roofs. Some of the buildings date back to the 17th century, and retain much of the charm of bygone days.
The Farm is secluded yet conveniently situated, being half a mile from the nearest public road and only two miles from the market town of Lampeter.
The Farm enjoys magnificent views of the beautiful Teifi Valley and rolling Welsh Hills.
Gwarcoed is a small Stud of Welsh Ponies and Cobs, but we also keep free range poultry, cats, sheepdogs, dairy goats, sheep, Welsh Black cattle and pigs. The surrounding area is devoted to cattle and sheep farming.
We offer simple, but comfortable, accommodation at Gwarcoed for families and young people wishing to share in the life of a traditional Welsh Farm.
Guests are welcome to join in the farm activities, or just relax and enjoy the countryside.
We also offer a wide rage of activities and courses for those wishing to learn rural skills, together with horse riding and pony care. We offer specialist Violin Tuition, English/French language and Art/Craft courses.
There is also a small campsite on the Farm.
